# Books-A-Million

#### **Project Challenge:**

S-CUBE was asked to work on several fixture package initiatives

1. Design & develop several new fixtures including for Comic & Vinyl products.
2. Value engineer the entire store package to deliver price savings across all product categories.
3. Manage delivery so that all trucks arrive on time & in the correct order to facilitate unloading & staging within the store.

#### **Service Scope:**

S-CUBE delivered cost savings of almost 0ne-half of the program cost with value engineering across all categories. We manufactured products in all mediums – Wood/metal/mixed material production. The program included 120 different SKUs. We have completed 15 stores to date with 6 more scheduled. We coordinated 10-12 trucks for each new store and guaranteed OTC delivery. We continue to manage and hold inventory for store needs.
