S-CUBE is proud to announce the completion of a 1200 store national rollout for one of the largest retailers in the world.
Overcoming manufacturing and logistic challenges
With retail storming back from a tough pandemic year in 2020, our client wanted to finish off 2021 strong, with a new retail concept that was rolling out to 1200 stores. Our client had a tight timeframe to get this program off the ground but considering the shipping delays and manufacturing shortages that are impacting everyone these days, this seems like an impossible challenge. S-CUBE worked with closely with the client’s design and engineering team to finalize and proto-type the final fixturing solution allowing the client to hit their target delivery dates.
Adapting to project’s changing schedules
But as most retailers know, things are always constantly changing, and this rollout was no exception. The customer’s merchandise team needed to get things in place sooner because of the upcoming holidays, and as a result our client’s delivery window for the project shortened by 40 days. This presented a whole new set of challenges for S-CUBE. Some fixture companies might have seen this as an impossible deadline to meet, S-CUBE and our trusted partners saw it an opportunity to shine.
Robust manufacturing capabilities
Working with our worldwide network of manufacturing partners we were able to expedite a wide range of fixture components and accessories from all corners of the globe. Items such as heavy-duty conversion panels, custom sign and mirror holders, and merchandising hooks. We also had to include custom graphic kits that were provided to us from the client.
Quick turnaround and speedy distribution
Our 160,000 sq. ft. warehouse functioned as the distribution center for our customer. S-CUBEs warehouse team was able to dramatically reduce turnaround times by seamlessly working with carriers and by creating efficient packing and production workstations to pick and pack the store package for each location. Through this process, S-CUBE was able to ship out around 80 stores per day or 1200 stores in just over a month.
